Are you planning a party for Super Bowl Sunday or just having a few friends over and looking for help
with your party menu? The Clearview Regional School District along with Mantua and Harrison
Township schools and Washington Township School District and Monroe Township Schools will host the 2012 Helping Hands Super Bowl Hoagie Sale on Super Bowl Sunday, February 5,2012.  All proceeds from the fundraising event will go directly to local families who have children in the school districts that suffer from serious medical conditions.

Last year Clearview Regional School District, along with Mantua and Harrison township schools joined with Washinglon Township School District's 20 year tradition in this worthwhile project. This year Williamstown High school is joining this project.

Two-foot ltalian party hoagies are being sold in an effort to raise money for these families. The hoagies are divided into 2 one foot hoagies and are a delicious addition to any superbowl party. The Italian hoagies are available with or without onions for $10 each. Hoagie trays are also available and will feed between l0 and 12 people, they are available for $50 each. The hoagies are made with the finest quality meats and bread and are assembled fresh superbowl Sunday morning by volunteers participating in this worthwhile community service project.

The hoagies and hoagie trays can be picked up at Clearview Regional High school between 10 am and 2pm on Superbowl Sunday.

Last year's sale netted a total of $30,000 in proceeds. This money was donated to local families who
were facing life-threatening illnesses and related medical costs. Two families from the Clearview
Regional High School District and Harrison and Mantua Township schools were included in the
recipients. This year's sale will benefit Dominique Burgos who has cerebral palsy, Cody Watson who
has cancer and Dakota Flern wlro has leukemia from the Clearview/Harrison/N1antua School Districts.

Also, five Washington Township children are designated as recipients. In addition, there are several
students at Williamstown High School who are undergoing cancer treatment. All of these recipients face costly medical procedures.

"Unfortunately, we have more and more recipients every year," OVMS Teacher and Hoagie Sale
organizer Kim Hinrichs said. "Our goal is to supply emotional support, spiritual support and, obviously, financial support. We want to let these families know that we are there for them. We couldn't do this without the help of everybody in this community."

In addition to individual hoagie orders, the group has prepared hundreds of hoagies for area homeless that are paid through corporate donations in support ofthe cause.
Interested in placing an order or making a donation?
