Philadelphia - More than 5500 runners and walkers laced up their sneakers and joined FOX 29 at the 15th annual Dash for Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness, Sunday, April 18th at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Everyone took an important step to help increase the awareness of organ and tissue donation while raising MORE THAN $400,000! One donor can save or enhance the lives of up to 50 people! Organ donation works; we celebrate the life it brings and thank all of the donors who make it possible. The funds that you raised will help us bring awareness about the need for organ and tissue donation, highlight the success of transplantation and raise money to help support public awareness campaigns that take place throughout the year.
