The Miami Herald says the show will start production in late March with most of the cast from Season One, which was shot in Seaside Heights, N.J.
Many Seaside Heights residents didn’t like the publicity the show received, but it is also very possible that “Jersey Shore” could return to New Jersey this summer.
The only cast member in doubt is Angelina Pivarnick, who walked off the show early in Season One after she was offended by some of the women brought back to the party house by The Situation, Pauly D and the gang.
Pivarnick did appear on a reunion show on MTV, but it was clear from her comments and comments from other cast members that she didn’t get along with the rest of her housemates. She is reportedly under contract to MTV for guest appearances.
"I don't wanna fight with people in the house, but if I have to, I have to,” Pivarnick said.
MTV said in February that season two will air in early summer.
The current cast will “escape the cold northeast and find themselves in a new destination.,” MTV said.
The season finale of “Jersey Shore” drew nearly 5 million viewers and is the biggest hit on MTV in years.
