MyFoxPhilly has learned that Bachelorette star Jillian Harris has dumped fiance Ed Swiderski in Las Vegas.
A source very close to the situation has confirmed the split and that Swiderski’s relationships with two other women led to the break up.
Harris was to have had dinner at the restaurant Lavo at the
Palazzo Resort in Las Vegas with Swiderski, but instead
dropped the bombshell on him.
Us Weekly said earlier this week it had documented proof
Swiderski was cheating with two women, a claim he denied on
national TV.
The magazine that broke the Jon Gosselin scandal says Ed
Swiderski slept with former girlfriend Lindsey Johnson, and hit on
another ex-girlfriend, Bethany Steffen, after he proposed to
Jillian Harris.
Us Weekly also said that Swiderski had sex with both women
after he bowed out of episode five because he said he would lose
his job in Chicago.
He later returned to the show to try to win Harris’
heart.
On Good Morning America on Wednesday, Swiderski denied all
claims made by the two women and Us Weekly. Harris also appeared on
TV, said the claims were false and she would never again discuss
the matter publicly.
MyFoxPhilly has seen the entire Us Weekly article that will
appear on Friday, and it has extensive details about e-mails and
text messages allegedly sent from Swiderski to Johnson and Steffen.
Both scorned women also gave detailed interviews to Us Weekly
and warned Harris to beware of Swiderski.
Us Weekly has eight text messages that Johnson and Steffen
gave to reporters that allegedly show Swiderski dissing Harris and
making passes at both women.
In one message, Swiderski says he’s not attracted to
Harris. Another message has Swiderski wanting to
“molest” Johnson when he got home.
Johnson also says she had sex with Swiderski in early June,
after he proposed to Harris at a “Bachelorette” taping.
At the time, Johnson said Swiderski denied to her that he was
engaged and claimed that “producers made me do it” when
she spotted airline tags from Spain and Hawaii on his luggage.
Later, Johnson said a friend tipped her off that Swiderski
was engaged to Harris. She said she confronted Swiderski, who then
told Johnson to watch TV to find out the truth.
Steffen also was in touch with Swiderski after the tapings
and said Swiderski wanted him to bring beer and condoms to his
apartment after he returned to Chicago. Instead, Steffen took her
belongings from his place.
Us Weekly received no comment from Warner Horizon, ABC or
Swiderski about the article before it was completed Wednesday
morning.
