Jon Gosselin Gives Away Family Dogs

PHILADELPHIA - Radar Online says Jon Gosselin has given away his childrens' pets in a dispute with wife Kate Gosselin.

The gossip website is reporting that the dogs were sent back to the breeder in Delaware  as part of the fallout of the divorce.

RadarOnline's executive vice president David Perel told Fox 29 that , "RadarOnline.com just broke the story that Jon and Kate have given up their dogs and Jon is blaming Kate.

Perel says, "RadarOnline.com is getting a huge reaction from the public to this exclusive story and people are outraged. You can tell by many of the comments people are leaving on RadarOnline.com who the public blames and exactly how they feel about this."

According to the Web site, Jon is blaming Kate for having to give away Shoka and Nala. He claims that she doesn't want to take care of them when he is away. The couple share a home with their 8 children in Wernersville, Pa.

The dogs were given to the eight Gosselin kids as a Christmas present last year and the subject of a special episode of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" last spring.

The dogs were puppies belonging to the breeder in Delaware, who reportedly is a former police officer.

The couple is expected to be divorced by October.

This June, Fox 29 camera crews caught on the dogs on camera when we visited the Gosselin estate.

At that time, Jon Gosselin had no comment for our reporter.
