LOS ANGELES - Whitney Houston's private funeral will be a family affair on Saturday in Newark, but former husband Bobby Brown won't apparently be in the small audience at Houston's church.

The pair had a stormy relationship until their divorce.
TMZ also said while Brown hasn't formally been left off the guest list for the services, he is upset and wants to be at the service to support his daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
Houston's funeral will be in Newark, N.J. Her family is from Newark, but Houston recently lived in Atlanta.
Houston died at the age of 48 in Beverly Hills last weekend.
