Snooki To Appear At Philly's Wing Bowl

PHILADELPHIA - In another sign of the Armageddon, WIP host Angelo Cataldi said Tuesday that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi from “Jersey Shore” will be at next Wing Bowl on February 5.

Wing Bowl is sponsored by Cataldi’s radio station, 610 WIP, and the 18th annual event promises to feature a bountiful number of wings, competitive eaters, and barely dressed “wingettes.”

Polizzi is becoming the breakout star of “Jersey Shore” as the former cheerleader and receptionist is taking in a reported $7,500 per personal appearance.

Polizzi and her “Jersey Shore” cast mates are negotiating with MTV over season two of the hit show, which drew nearly 5 million viewers for its season finale.

The Wing Bowl has had its share of controversy over the years. The annual event has grown to be a Philadelphia tradition, despite the general debauchery at the morning event that includes the consumption of adult beverages and the appearance of scantily clad women.

Last year’s event at the Wachovia Center had more than 20,000 people.
