Kate Gosselin Gets New Hairdo

Less than a month after her divorce became final, reality TV star mom Kate Gosselin's much-maligned short hairdo is gone.

Her new look will be the coverphoto of the forthcoming issue of People Magazine with the headline "I'm Starting Over."

Kate's divorce to Jon Gosselin was finalized Dec. 18 in Montgomery County court.

"It's good to have hair again," Kate told People. "I never thought I'd have short hair for as long as I did. I feel like this is a fresh start, a fresh me, a fresh life."

The former co-star of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" on TLC also reportedly refers to herself as "Kate Clean Slate," adding, "I'm rebuilding. There's no option for this not to be a good year. Now I get to start over with a new self and new goals."

There were recent reports that the newly-single mother is in talks to star in her own dating show. It has not been green-lighted by any network at this time.

Gosselin was recently dropped from a potential hosting gig on a talk show, although subsequent reports indicated she was only going to be a guest on Paula Deen's new show.
