Report: Kate Bars Jon's Girl From House

Radar Online reports that Kate Gosselin doesn’t want her husband’s girlfriend near her kids.

The gossip Web site said Kate Gosselin, 34, told a friend she “had a big surprise” for Jon Gosselin and that she doesn’t want  “Jon’s new girlfriend anywhere near her kids.”

Kate Gosselin left the couple’s Wernersville, Pa., estate on Thursday for parts unknown, as Jon Gosselin looks after their eight children.

Hailey Glassman, 22, has been the subject of a tabloid frenzy after news of a prior arrest for drugs hit the Internet.

"Hailey and I have been family friends for several years and only very recently began dating," Jon Gosselin told People on Wednesday. "What began as friendship has grown into something more."

"I genuinely enjoy spending time with her. It's nice to be with someone who I can confide in and trust and who accepts me for who I am."

"I know that my decision to appear publicly with Hailey this weekend will be scrutinized, but I hope that people can see I'm a regular guy who is going through a very difficult time in [my] life and wants to move forward."

Jon Gosselin also talked to a TMZ photographer for about three minutes on camera at a New York airport on Tuesday.

He said he got a job offer in France, but he came back to the U.S. without Glassman.

When asked if his eight children would be fashion models for designer Christian Audigier, Jon said,
"I didn’t sign anything yet.”

Jon was also mum about the location of Glassman, who was not with him on the flight.

He shrugged his shoulders when asked where Hailey was and said “probably” when asked if Glassman was still in France.

Jon also would say little about telling current wife Kate Gosselin about Glassman.

“You’d have to ask Kate,” Jo Gosselin said. “I’m not allowed to discuss it. I don’t want to get in trouble.”

Glassman is reportedly very upset about her treatment in U.S. tabloids.

Gosselin and Glassman have been linked for about one month. Jon Gosselin, 32, is still legally married but separated from Kate Gosselin.

Glassman, 22, is the daughter of the surgeon who did Kate's free tummy tuck.

Gosselin now frequently wears clothes from Audigier in public and on TV (when his show is off hiatus).

Gosselin reportedly received a shipment of the pricey clothes this spring, and started wearing the flashy sweatshirts in front of photographers camped out at the Wernersville, Pa. estate.

The news comes as Kate Gosselin was in Hollywood last week hustling her own TV show.

Gosselin went with a business associate to Burbank for meetings near the Warner Bros. lot.

Radar Online says the speculation is Kate is hoping to cut a big-money TV deal on her own, since “Jon & Kate” is on hiatuts and her book and clothes projects are cancelled.
