PHILADELPHIA - The Associated Press says the Whitney House funeral in Newark will be televised and it will provide the camera feed.

However, the AP says there will be just one camera inside New Hope Baptist Church on Saturday.

The media will not be allowed inside the private service, which will start at 12 p.m.

Houston's publicist, Kristen Foster, announced that The Associated Press will be the pool camera for the Saturday ceremony in Newark, N.J., and the AP will stream the service on livestream.com/aplive.

The service should also be available on TV and on Web sites.

Houston died in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Saturday at the age of 48. Her body was flown back to her native New Jersey on Monday.

Houston was born in Newark but spent much of her adult life in Atlanta.

There were conflicting reports on Wednesday about Houston's former husband, Bobby Brown, and if he would be at the service.

TMZ says Houston's family members have told Brown, Whitney Houston's former husband, that he shouldn't attend the funeral .

But another gossip Web site said Brown would be at the service.

Houston died at the age of 48 in Beverly Hills last weekend.
