Joe Sixpack's Best Cheap Beer Picks

PHILADELPHIA - Is your weekend not complete without a couple of beers? Joe Sixpack is back with a look at the best cheap beers on the market.

Lionshead Pilsner - ultra cheap, good flavor $14/case

Yuengling Chesterfield Ale - good flavor, very hoppy $18/case

Philly Brewing Kenzinger or Yards Philly Pale Ale - both locally made, around $30 (cheap for microbrews these days).

Spaten Optimator - very good German import, about 50 percent more alcohol than standard beer, about $30/case. This one's actually a steal.

Remember, even at 30 bucks a case, you're talking a buck and a quarter a bottle. You can't find any decent wine in that price range.
