Ways To Help Tent City Residents

    Fox 29 viewers are responding and asking what they can do to help Camden's tent city residents.

    Steve Keeley, who did the reports, said the problem is that you actually have to go there in order to help.

    The tent city is located just off Interstate 676 if you take the PATCO high-speed line or the River Line on Department of Transportation land, right near the police department.

    Keeley said the man who runs it, Lorenzo "Jamaica" Banks, also works at a shelter called Frank's Place , which is located at New Visions Community Services. Their number is (856) 963-0857.
