Olympic Skating Favorites Train Locally

ASTON, Pa. - The Winter Olympics are less than two months away. The opening ceremonies are Feb. 12.

And two of the big favorites are now training here.

Fox 29's John Anderson was in South Philadelphia on Friday morning with more.

Ice Works Skating Complex in Aston, Pa., and Vancouver, British Columbia, are separated by 3,000.

But the two places could soon be connected by Olympic gold.

After training for 10 years in Detroit, Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto decided they needed a change in scenery and a change of coaches.

So Belbin, originally from Kingston, Ontario, and Agosto, from Chicago, are now training in Aston four hours a day, five days a week.
