PHILADELPHIA - An 11-year-old girl wrote a letter to President Barack Obama about being bullied in her West Philadelphia school back in January.
On March 10, she received a letter signed by Obama.
Ziainey Stokes first spoke with Fox 29 News about the letter Monday.
On Tuesday morning, she joined "Good Day" along with her mother, Zina Stokes, to talk about the letter.
The fifth-grader says she started being bulled in the third-grade, when she was called names by classmates at the Belmont Academy Charter School. The teasing became non-stop, and a girl was also taking her lunch.
She later transferred schools.
Now, Stokes is on a mission to end bullying and wants an organization to help others find voice and urge adults to pay attention.
