As the seasons change so do the needs of our skin.

Certified Dermatologist Dr. Susan Taylor explained on "Good Day" as the humidity drops many people are going to develop dry and itchy skin.

Dr. Taylor said it will help your skin if you cut down on your time in the hot shower. Five-minutes is plenty. It's also a good idea to turn down that hot water and use lukewarm water. Moisturizing cleansers are a good substitute for regular soap. And then it's important to use a lotion to keep the moisture trapped in your skin.

A humidifier can help too.
