Good Day Champs: Bishop Eustace Crew

The Freshman crew team from Bishop Eustace are this week's "Good Day Champs."

The Bishop Eustace Crusaders are ranked 6th in North America. The Freshman 8 team won the Garden State Championships held in April on the Cooper River. They also won the New Jersey State Championship.

Coach Tom Thomas is thrilled with the team's hard work and accomplishments. Thomas said crew is one of the oldest sports out there. "It's a sport that includes a good amount of endurance, a good amount of strength, strong balance, and the consument team sports." He said "without the eight rowing together, without the strong command of the coxswain they don't go anywhere fast."
