Race Distracting From Tea Party Message?

PHILADELPHIA - "Good Day" asked this question Monday, and many of you responded with your thoughts: Is the Tea Party racist?

The Tea Party is planning a "Uni-Tea Summit" here in Philadelphia to address the issue on July 31.

This comes as the Tea Party faces criticism from organizations like the NAACP, which argue the group tolerates racists.

Fox 29 News talked with local members who say, it's just not true. They'd rather focus on the economy.

Joe Watkins, a former White House aide for President George W. Bush and chairman of Students First, joined Democratic consultant Eleanor Dezzi to talk about the issue on "Good Day" Tuesday morning.
