Renee and Eleanor are fired up for the upcoming general election.

Eleanor Dezzi is a Democratic political consultant. Renee Amoore is a Republican political strategist. The two sparred Wednesday on "Good Day."

Dezzi said threats the Democrats are going down in most mid-term elections probably won't happen. She agrees with John McCain's recent statement "it's not the D's going down, or the R's going down. It's the incumbents going down. And I think that's true." Dezzi predicts 25 to 30 Democrats will lose in the November election. Amoore thinks it will be at least 30. There are 39 Democratic seats up for grabs.

Dezzi explained if Democrats are going to win they have to focus on what they've accomplished while in office. She believes term-limits will become a hot topic of debate after this election. Especially among voters who weren't too involved with this election.

In the Pennsylvania Senate race Dezzi believes Joe Sestak needs to get out more "and define himself. He's not as well-known." Dezzi thinks he should promote the fact that he was part of the Clinton White House. "I think Toomey's very, very ultra conservative stance on a lot of issues is going to make Pennsylvania step up."

Amoore is outraged at the claim that Sestak isn't well-known. "The man was in Congress. What was he doing? nothing? That's part of his problem." Amoore says Sestak "has some serious issues." She strongly believes Toomey is going to win the Senate race. " He's going to win. He's right on message. He's going to do what he has to do and keep on doing it."

Both believe turn-out will be the key to the November election.
