Teen Star Justin Bieber sang Friday at a Philadelphia-area school that won a radio-station contest.

Bieber spoke with Fox 29 reporter Nefertiti Jaquez just before he went on stage at Ridley High School in Folsom, Pa.

“I came from YouTube,” Bieber said. “Having it blow up so fast is just amazing.”

Bieber, 15, became a huge star on YouTube and was the subject of a bidding war between producers.

Usher and Justin Timberlake fought over Bieber, with Usher signing the Canadian teenager to a recording deal.

“I met Usher and it was pretty sweet,” Bieber said.

Bieber also said he was currently single.

Bieber just recently made his U.S. television debut and is expected to be a huge star in this country.

The local event was sponsored as a fund raiser by radio station Q102.
