TMZ: Woods' Divorce Won't Cost $750M

Forbes Recently Put Tiger's Worth Around $600M

PHILADELPHIA - Reports that Tiger Woods' divorce settlement will cost him $750 million "just aren't true," TMZ's Dax told "Good Day" Friday morning.

Dax said of Elin Nordegren Woods, "She's going to make a ton of money, but it's not going to be anywhere near the rumored $750 million. Their paperwork is actually complete. They just need to turn it over to the court to finalize this divorce. But it looks like she'll get tens-of-millions of dollars, but nothing near that 750."

A report emerged Thursday in the U.K. newspaper The Sun that Woods would pay $750 million or more, hand over property, lose custody of his two children although retain some decision-making rights, and he would not be permitted to have the kids meet any girlfriends until he marries.

But Dax said of the dfollar amount, "The problem is that Tiger Woods isn't even worth that. I mean, Forbes had him at $600 million, you know, recently. And, so, we talked to his people, and his people were like, 'Yeah, he's not worth $750 million.' So she's definitely not getting that."
