Dr. Mike: 'Blueprint For Hope Tour'

PHILADELPHIA - On "Good Day" Wednesday morning, Dr. Mike Cirigliano was talking about a subject that affects more people than you might think -- depression, and how to deal with it.

Joining him was Paige Hemmis, who you may know as the designer and carpenter from ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," to talk more about her life behind the camera.

Hemmis, who has degrees in psychology and theology, realized that she was suffering from depression five or six years ago.

The symptoms of depression, frequent sadness, lack of interest, appetite or weight change, sleep change and fatigue.

Hemmis and Dr. Mike are taking part in a depression education event at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Embassy Suites Hotel at Philadelphia International Airport. It's all part of the "Blueprint for Hope Tour," which is free and open to the public.
