PHILADELPHIA - Mike Jerrick heads over to one of my favorite places, Penne Restaurant & Wine Bar inside the Hilton Inn at Penn in University City, to cook up some summer favorites.

Because it's so hot outside, Chef Roberta Adamo of Penne shared a cool idea for your July 5 table.

First, she showed how to make a Summer Panzenella Salad. Then, she demonstrated how to make your own avocado bowtie pasta at home.
