Ex-Hitman Veasey Live On Fox 29

Former Philadelphia mob hitman John Veasey was on Good Day on Tuesday and talked about his former life as a Mafia hitman and his new life after his prison.

"I live a regular life," Veasey said. He doesn’t worry about people following him who have past grievances.

Veasey said he went on the straight path at the urging of his late brother, Billy Veasey, who was killed when John Veasey testified in court.

Veasey went into the witness protection trial after the John Stanfa trial. Before then, he killed two men for the mob in his role as an enforcer.

"I did it. I didn't think about it," Veasey said. "It was an opportunity to make some money." And now? "I wouldn't kill anybody today," Veasey says.

Veasey was living in the Midwest and making money as a car salesman when a former FBI agent outed him as a former hitman.

Now, Veasey says he can’t work in the car sales business and he's battling Hepatitis C and other health issues.

Whatever happens, Veasey says he's accepted it.
