PHILADELPHIA - Research has shown vaccines do not cause autism, but even still some parents of autistic children aren't buying it.
If not vaccines, is it something in the environment? And can it be prevented?
Are there more cases, or are we just more aware?
April is "Autism Awareness Month," so you'll probably be hearing a lot more of these questions in the coming weeks.
Joining "Good Day" on Thursday morning was Dr. Robert Schultz, the director of the Center for Autism Research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
He talked about how researchers look at brains comparatively, Jennie Garth's controversial book that says her son was "cured," and whether children with the same risk factors can have different outcomes.
