An audience member asks Dr. Oz about the difference between American Ginseng and Chinese Ginseng. The audience member also notes that she can only find Chinese ginseng when searching.

Dr. Oz notes that the ginseng herb is found in different parts of the world, and he further states that American ginseng has been very effective in reducing colds and flu.

Dr. Oz further explains that the ginseng in China is the better-studied ginseng, and it is the ginseng that is usually added to teas.

Dr. Oz finishes by stating that he uses the Chinese Ginseng in food, and the American Ginseng precisely for prevention against flu.
