Apolo Anton Ohno Skates Into Philly

Speed skater Apolo Anton Ono is the most decorated Winter Olympian in history. He has won eight olympic medals.

Ohno is spending Wednesday in Philadelphia to talk with students at LaSalle Academy about saying "yes" to a healthy lifestyle and "no" to underage drinking. "I believe middle school students, that's the prime age they are still very vulnerable, it's not the best time of your life as a kid, but it's also a stage where kids can be pushed either way."

Ohno was raised by a single father. He told Mike and Shienelle his father enrolled him in every sport possible to keep him busy and out of trouble. Ohno says the students "can feel my energy and they know that I'm there to speak to them and I can relate to them on different levels."

Ohna was also a recent contestant on 'Dancing With The Stars." He delicately dodged Sheinelle's question about Kate Gosselin's performance this season, saying "she has a nice personality."

When asked about his so-called "soul patch," Ohno explained he first grew it years ago because he didn't have full facial hair, "it's how it grew."
