Age, race . . . it doesn’t matter. Brown skin can’t even camouflage it.
They’re mostly ugly, but they often hurt, a lot.
For some, there’s no escaping them. For many . . . they are coming.
They can show up behind the knees, on the thighs and around the ankles.
“They” are spider veins.
So, where to these creepy crawlers come from?
Are there any contributing factors?
Daisy's spider veins showed up after her pregnancy.
Pat Forster inherited her mother’s spider veins.
Fox 29’s Joyce Evans spoke to both women to find out the methods they are taking to rid themselves of spider veins.
In Pat's case, she chose Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Emily Pollard.
Daisy chose Dr. Matthew Dougherty.
