Free Dry Cleaning For Unemployed

Times are tough for a lot of people right now.

Some of those feeling the financial pinch are getting some help cutting back as they try to get ahead again in the job market.

Consumer reporter Michelle Buckman has the Real Deal on a Bucks County business doing just that.

Free dry cleaning services, up to 3 garments a week, for those that are unemployed at the ZIPS Dry Cleaner in Warminster, Bucks County. The program began in August and the store's owner says that he does not plan to end the hugely popular program anytime soon!

ZIPS, founded in 1996 and began franchising in 2006, has 18 locations on the East Coast. The company offers a fixed price of $1.99 for any garment to be dry cleaned and $1.19 for any shirt to be laundered. ZIPS offers same day service “In by 9, out by 5” with the motto, “We take the sting out of dry cleaning.”
