Tullytown, PA - Police say a Philadelphia-area commuter rail employee was injured in a fall from a moving train, but used her flashlight to wave down another train and get help.
Tullytown police Sgt. Daniel Doyle says the woman fell from a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority train just north of Levittown, 20 miles northeast of Philadelphia.
Police found her hat, a shoe, train schedules and a ticket
punch along the tracks. Doyle says the woman was knocked
unconscious, but regained consciousness and waved down a later
Amtrak train with her flashlight.
An ambulance took the woman to St. Mary Medical Center in
Middletown. Her name wasn't released, and authorities say her
condition wasn't immediately available.
The tracks were closed for about an hour, reopening about 10
p.m. Monday.
