Less than a week after the release of their new album, Irish rockers U2 announce the first North American dates on their upcoming world tour.
And, guess what? Philadelphia isn't on the list -- at least not yet.
The band keeps adding more cities to its itinerary but, so far, it looks like Philly is out of luck.
WMMR's Preston & Steve joined "Good Day Philadelphia to discuss the band's decision.
The closest shows are Sept. 24 at Giants Stadium or Sept. 20 in Boston. They'll also be coming close to Philly when they play Washington, D.C., on Sept. 29. Then, it's on to Charlottesville, Va., in October. Click here to see a full list of tour dates.
Among the supporting acts are the Black Eyed Peas and Scotland's Snow Patrol.
