The fishing crew was forced to jump from their vessel into a life raft when its boat erupted in flames. This happened about 30 miles southeast of Cape May.
A nearby fishing boat responded to a distress call and plucked the crew from the life raft before the Coast Guard arrived.
The Coast Guard escorted the crew back to Cape May in Atlantic County.
