Dr. Mike Cirigliano explains how a minor skiing mishap turned potentially deadly for actress Natasha Richardson.
Dr. Mike told "Good Day Philadelphia," he suspects Richardson hit her head and then blood formed under the skull. Dr. Mike says when this happens, the person can initally feel fine and then develop a headache that gets progressively worse. If the blood is not relieved quickly death can occur.
