Who Is Marc Mezvinsky?

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Chelsea Clinton and her longtime boyfriend, Marc Mezvinsky, got engaged on Thanksgiving. The couple sent an e-mail to friends and family announcing their engagement.

Mezvinsky, 31, and Clinton, 29, have known each other since they were teenagers when they were introduced by colleagues of their political parents. They attended Stanford University together and studied finance.

The couple lives in Manhattan, N.Y., where Mezvinsky reportedly bought a $3.8 million condo last year.

Mezvinsky, who works at Manhattan hedge fund G3, is the son of former Iowa Congressman and convicted felon Edward Mezvinsky and former NBC reporter and congresswoman Marjorie Margolies Mezvinsky.

His father pleaded guilty in 2002 to tricking investors out of more than $10 million and was recently released from a halfway house.

Mezvinsky is Jewish and has 10 siblings. Clinton, a Methodist, was seen attending Yom Kippur services in September with Mezvinsky at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, according to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency .
