Police Investigate Attack At Embassy

WASHINGTON - D.C. Police and Secret Service officers are investigating a stabbing that happened at the Republic of Togo’s embassy on Massachusetts Avenue.

Police say 31-year-old Kokou Bocco entered the Republic of Togo Embassy wanting information on how to immigrate back to his his home country.  Bocco became angry and then assaulted three embassy employees.

The employees subdued Bocco until police arrived.  The employees have minor cuts.

The three employees and Bocco were taken to George Washington Hospital.  

Bocco is charged with one count of aggravated assault with more charges pending.
