The Lower Merion School District is racking up a hefty legal tab.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer , the bill for defending itself against a laptop webcam lawsuit has topped $550,000 dollars.
And if the district settles the ongoing lawsuit, that figure could balloon into the millions.
That's a bill that may ultimately get handed down to the taxpayers since the district's insurance carrier is asking the court to rule that their policy does not cover the lawsuit's claims.
