PHILADELPHIA - Dozens gathered in Center City on Monday morning to rally against the closure of Cardinal Dougherty High School.
Protesters started on the parkway and marched over to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia building on 17th Street.
The archdiocese blames the decision to close Cardinal Dougherty and North Catholic on rising costs, enrollment and a bad economy.
The school is scheduled to close at the end of the current school year.
