Table Games Delay May Cost Pa. Students

Students at some Pennsylvania universities will see higher tuition bills if a stalemate in Harrisburg doesn't end soon.

Last month's budget agreement between Gov. Ed Rendell and top lawmakers assumes approval of a table games bill to raise $200 million for the cash-strapped state government.

Until a bill is approved, Rendell is holding up discretionary taxpayer dollars slated for several Pennsylvania universities. Those include Temple, Pitt, Lincoln and Penn state.
