A federal judge has ruled that the Lower Merion School District must pay the attorney doing work for the family in a civil court lawsuit over laptop spying.
Attorney Mark Haltzman represents the Robbins family. They claim the district photographed their son 400 times a day last fall with school issued laptops.
The judge says Haltzman deserves to be paid $260,000 for his work barring the district from using the tracking software.
Lower Merion district officials said they're disappointed with the decision.
