Under the new law, current school employees in Pennsylvania must report any arrests or convictions of serious crimes in their past and must report any future arrest or conviction within three days.
Some school employees are now fighting to keep their jobs in light of the new laws.
At least four lawsuits have been filed across the state challenging the new rules.
