NJDOT Worker Dies Helping Motorist

BELLMAWR, N.J. - We're following a developing story out of Bellmawr, where a driver killed a NJ Department of Transportation worker helping someone on the side of the road.

SkyFox flew over the scene on Interstate 76 at about 2 p.m. Monday.

Authorities said the 45-year-old worker, whose identity wasn't immediately released, was helping a disabled motorist on the highway when he and his truck were struck by an eastbound vehicle.

Police said the driver is being held for questioning. So far no charges have been filed.
