Evidence To Be Tested In 1989 Rape Case

Pennsylvania Innocence Project Working Easton Case

PHILADELPHIA - A local district attorney agrees to allow tests on evidence which may prove the wrong man is serving a life sentence at a Pennsylvania prison.

It's a result of the first formal legal filing by the Pennsylvania Innocence Project, and it involves a 42-year-old Easton man.

Scott Oliver is now serving a life sentence for the 1989 rape and murder of an 11-year-old girl.

The project's legal director, Marissa Bluestine, discussed the case more Wednesday night on the Fox 29 News at 6.
