PHILADELPHIA - Citizens' Alliance for Better Neighborhoods, the non-profit organization at the heart of former state Sen. Vince Fumo's corruption trial, has announced it will stop providing community services at the end of April.
In a letter to supporters on the organization's Web site, the executive director says financial issues led to the decision.
The letter says the alliance has seen a reduction in private and public funding.
It goes on to say the non-profit has had to redirect resources to cover expenses related to government investigations.
Fumo was convicted earlier this month of using the organization's bank accounts as his own.
