Teen Gunned Down On Easter

A Camden county teen is dead, after an Easter night party at a public community center.

Sergio Rivera, 18, was gunned down outside the Wayne Bryant community center in Lawnside late Sunday night.

The borough rents out the taxpayer owned center to private functions like weddings. However, Fox 29 learned the event was actually a homecoming party for someone who had gotten out of jail.

A police official said the borough thought it was a birthday party and had a required an age minimum of 21.
