Accused Ex-Cop Due In Court Wednesday
PHILADELPHIA - A former Philadelphia police officer is due in court Wednesday on murder charges.
Frank Tepper is accused of shooting and killing William Panas Jr. last November.
Police said the shooting happened during a fight near Tepper's Port Richmond home.
Tepper, who was off duty at the time, claimed he was attacked and acted in self-defense.
He'll be in court Wednesday for a pre-trial conference.
