Man Allegedly Attacked By Philly Firefighter, Son
PHILADELPHIA - A man who was allegedly beaten by a Philadelphia firefighter and his son in a road-rage incident has died, authorities said Wednesday morning.
Police said Gerard M. Shaffer and his son, also named Gerard, attacked a man who they exchanged words with near their car at Knights and Fairdale roads.
The victim was in critical condition for nearly two weeks before being taken off life-support Tuesday, police said.
