DuPont To Lay Off 2,000 Employees

Dupont will layoff 2,000 workers. Employees at the company's laboratory in south Philadelphia will soon get pink slips and 88 workers in Deepwater, New Jersey will also be sent to the unemployment line.

In December, Dupont laid off 2,500 employees and cut 10,000 contract workers.

Dupont's plan calls for reducing it's global workforce by 7.5% by the end of the year.
