Photos Show Black Bear Roaming Suburbs

Police in Bucks County said they have spotted a bear dangerously close to homes in Solebury Township.

Officers who snapped pictures of the bear said it was spotted Monday along the Delaware Canal towpath and following a crowd near Rice's Flea Market before heading into the Estates of Honey Hollow housing neighborhood.

Police said they received numerous calls about the bear, which was then seen again in Buckingham Township the next day.

Police believe the black bear wandered into Bucks County from New Jersey.

Officers said the animal appears to be afraid of people.
