Wife Charged In Murder-For-Hire Plot

MAYS LANDING, N.J. - A woman from Pleasantville, New Jersey is charged in connection with a murder-for-hire plot designed to kill her husband.

Police in Egg Harbor say 62-year-old Michael Lowrie tried to solicit a hitman to kill her 71-year-old husband.

Officers arrested her without incident on Friday.

Lowrie is being held on $400,000 cash bond.
