The child victim of a rape is home from the hospital, but the man police have questioned about the attack to be released from the hospital Thursday and has yet to be charged.
New questions are also being asked about 26-year-old Jose Carrasquillo, who police initially identified as a “person of interest" but Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey flat out called a suspect on Wednesday.
Police are trying to determine if Carrasquillo is responsible for other assault incidents already under investigation.

Philadelphia's top cop strongly believes Carrasquillo is the man who raped the 11-year-old girl Monday as she walked to school in Kensington.
"He's a suspect. There's no question about that," Ramsey said, adding that they're looking to see whether he's done it before.
"Not necessarily against a juvenile but certainly other sexual assault cases that we need to take a very strong look at,” says Ramsey.
Police also tell Fox 29 they have a new videotape in their possession from Kensington Creative and Performing Arts High School.
The video was handed over to them by the school district, which stated that Monday a student reported being groped by a man outside the school.
District officials said a letter went home with students Tuesday about the alleged groping incident, and it's under investigation.
The letter says, "When the student arrived in the cafeteria, she noticed that the person that sexually assaulted her was in the lunchroom having breakfast. The student immediately reacted by screaming, which prompted the intruder to immediately run away from the school and into the street."
The police department's Special Victims Unit told Fox 29 the tape is being enhanced to see if the groper may have been Carrasquillo.
That incident happened an hour before and not far from the rape of the 11-year-old on the 2000 block of E. Westmoreland Street.
While Ramsey said he believes the case is on its way to being solved, the trauma is far from over for the victim.
“This girl will heal from her physical injuries, but she may never heal from the psychological injuries she sustained from this attack, which was very brutal,” Ramsey said.
