The robber, who was caught on surveillance cameras, handed the teller a demand note around 9:34 a.m. and made off with about $3,000 in cash, according to the FBI.

The robber was described as a white male, 60 to 65 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a thin build and clean-shaven. He was wearing a brown baseball cap with a logo on the front and on the bill, along with large dark sunglasses, a dark-brown long-sleeve shirt, light-brown or khaki long pants, and brown Timberland-style boots.

The man placed the money into a dirty or off-white pillowcase that he pulled from inside his shirt, and he was last seen on foot headed westbound on Market Street. His body or clothes may be discolored from dye stains.

The man is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to the robber's identification and apprehension, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
